| Part 1: Using Finishing Attacks effectively |
 |
 |
So, are you and your friends enjoying your MUSHI KING battles?
Through these MUSHI KING lectures, I'm going to tell you about techniques that will help you win battles. |
|
 |
In this lecture, I'm going to teach you the real basics - the most effective ways to use your Finishing Attack!
I'm sure you already know that successfully using your Finishing Attack against your opponent is vital in battles.
But some of you out there might be thinking, "Yeah, but I'm no good at using my Finishing Attack…what should I do?" Here's a great technique for you guys!
First - check which Finishing Attack your beetle has
In this example, we'll use a Japanese beetle.
Let's look at the Japanese beetle's Finishing Attack.
 |

In the game, the corresponding
icon will be flashing. |
| This Japanese beetle's Finishing Attack is "Paper". |
|
Next, check your opponent's Finishing Attack.
Your opponent is a Saw tooth Stag-beetle.
 |

In the game, the corresponding
icon will be flashing. |
| The Saw tooth Stag-beetle's Finishing Attack is…that's right - "Scissors"! |
|
Is it going to be easy for me to successfully use my Japanese beetle's Finishing Attack?
Let's think about a battle between these two beetles.
When you are in a battle, both of you are going to want to use your Finishing Attack, right?
So what's going to happen if both of you use your Finishing Attacks at the same time? |

Your Japanese beetle's Finishing Attack is "Paper".
Your opponent's Saw tooth Stag-beetle's is "Scissors".
 |
 |
Your opponent is going to beat you, and their Finishing Attack is going to give you major damage.
When you use your Finishing Attack, your opponent's is going to beat you…which means… |
 |
The more you use your Finishing Attack, the more you get hit by your opponent's!
In this battle, your opponent's Finishing Attack is going to be more successful than yours. |
|
|
How can you make using your Finishing Attack more successful?
Select a beetle that has a Finishing Attack that will beat your opponent's!
In this case, your opponent's Saw tooth Stag-beetle's Finishing Attack is "Scissors"...the Finishing Attack you'll need to beat that is "Rock".
So, if you select a beetle with a Finishing Attack of "Rock", your Finishing Attack is going to be a whole lot more effective!
The Little Stag-beetle's Finishing Attack is "Rock".
 |

A Little Stag-beetle is actually weaker than a Saw tooth Stag-beetle, but it is much easier to use in this situation. |
When you know what beetle (and Finishing Attack) your opponent has, choose a beetle with a Finishing Attack that can beat it!
In Battle Mode, you and your opponent play off against each other with two beetles each.
When your first beetle loses and you have to choose your second beetle, you'll already know your opponent's Finishing Attack is, right?
 |
 |
This means you should choose a beetle that can beat your opponent's Finishing Attack!
Your opponent's Finishing Attack also shows up on the screen when you scan your beetle.
Select any beetle you like for the first battle. But it's a good idea to choose a beetle for the second battle that can beat your opponent's beetle! |
Before you start, if you have three types of beetle ready - one with a Finishing Attack of "Rock", another one with "Scissors", and one more with "Paper" - you'll be able to quickly choose the best one to take out your opponent, based on its Finishing Attack!
Competition Advice
When you enter a competition, it's pretty important to check what beetle the other competitors are using.
When you know what beetle your opponent is using, then it is easy to decide which beetle you're going to use! |
